Obituary for Patty Carol Gillespie
Patty Carol Gillespie 86 years old of Anthony, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on Thursday Morning September 26, 2024, at the E.W. and Lucille Cates House in Ocala, Florida after a short time with a lingering illness.
A visitation will be held on October 7, 2024, for family and friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be on October 8, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Kent “Pee Wee” Denton officiating with Christian burial rites will be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moccasin Township, Effingham County following the funeral services.
Patty Carol Gillespie was born along with her seven siblings into the Christian family of John Woodrow (Pete) and Leta LaVon Siddens-Dial on February 20, 1938, in Effingham, Illinois.
While raising a family, she proudly was employed as housewife. Patty loved music, spending time with her family, gardening and loved all her pets over the years.
Patty is survived by Son: Rick (wife Alicia) Klitzing of Dunnellon, Florida
and their daughter Grace Klitzing
Daughter: Rhonda (husband Bo Reese) Klitzing of Anthony, Florida
and her two daughters: Michelle ( husband Manny Sr.) Irizarry of Mattoon, Illinois and their children Manny Jr. and Skyler Mansfield
Melissa (husband Tony) Orndorff of Teutopolis, Illinois
and their children: Coda and Kadence Orndorff and Avery Gee.
