Obituary for Ella Emilie Bischoff
Ella was born into the Christian family the oldest of four siblings to Charles and Louise Schroeder-Campe. She began her long life on March 2, 1928 at the family farm Jackson Township, near Altamont, Illinois. Besides being a helpmate for her husband, the former Rev. Lester Bischoff, Sr., she also served as a part time nurse’s aid. She married Lester L. Bischoff Sr. in the Zion Lutheran Church rural Altamont, IL by the Rev. Karl Weinrich on December 10, 1950.
Lester preceded her in death on November 4, 2004. She spent many years doing Bible studies at area nursing homes in Wisconsin and Illinois until her move to Wisconsin five years ago. She enjoyed her grand children, crossword puzzles, her cats, ice cream, watching the birds, going for walks.




She is survived by her:

3-Sons: Lester L. (wife, Joan) Bischoff Jr. Sheboygan, Wisconsin
John (wife, Karin) Bischoff Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Orville Bischoff and Denise Detroit Lakes, Minnesota


Daughters: Marilyn Theel Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
Nancy (husband, Jess) Nack Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Karla (husband, Keith) Kiehnau St. Cloud, Wisconsin

Sister: Alma Hamrick Effingham, Illinois
She was preceded in death by Her
Brothers: Otto Campe and Infant Brother Campe
Son in Law: Glenn Theel
