Obituary for Pauline Mardell Ohnesorge-Kingery
Pauline Mardell Ohnesorge-Kingery was born on the family farm rural Effingham County, near Shumway, Illinois on October 2, 1929 into the Christian family, one of 4 siblings, of Edward Louis and Donna Melinda Knierim-Ohnesorge. She grew up in the Shumway area and completed her education at the Beecher City High School. Pauline married John E. Kingery Jr. on June 11, 1950 at the Van Treese Methodist Church in Shumway. They enjoyed 64 years together before his death on December 31, 2014. Pauline was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Effingham. She was employed and worked retail for many years at Sears, Patty Tot and Teen Shop and also at Jansen's Department Store all in Effingham. She met numerous people that became friends. Pauline will be sadly missed and loved by her Daugher:Cathy (husband, Kevin) Winterof Effingham, Illinois Grandson: Thomas Scott Edward Friese of Effingham, Illinois 3-Granddaughters:Brittaney Diane Mandell Frieseof Kissimmee, Florida Macy Alexandra Rose Frieseof Charleston, Illinois Erin Elizabeth Ann Frieseof Effingham, Illinois Brother:Larry (wife, Angie) Ohnesorgeof Sun City, Arizona Sister:Rosalee Wallsof Effingham, Illinois Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many friends She was preceded in death by Her: Parents, Loving Husband John Brother Howard Ohnesorge Brother-in-law Albert Walls and Nephew Thomas Walls In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the family and or the Donor's choice.
