Mary was born in Vandalia Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Dorothy Kramer on February 2nd, 1959, at Fayette Co. Hospital. She passed away Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL after a short stay.
Mary attended school in Altamont, Illinois. She loved nature- the trees, rocks, and the wildlife. She especially loved the laundry business and the people she met.
Mary is survived is survived by her sons, Eric Carter, Justin Finfrock (significant other Jessica Wolfert), Caleb Stringer, Cole Stringer and grandson Tyler Finfrock and Kamryn Wolfert. Also, special friend Tonya Rush.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Travis Carter, her daughter, Brooke Stringer and her brothers- Loren Kramer, Larry Kramer and her sister – Marian Horn. Mary was also preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Jane Kramer of Altamont and Fred and Mary Kline of St. Elmo.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 9th from 5pm to 7pm at Kull Funeral Home in Altamont with Funeral services to be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 10th also at Kull Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont following the funeral services.
