Obituary for Mable Lee Askins
Mable was born into the Christian family of William and Mable Watson-Grant, where she shared the house hold with her 8 siblings. She began her long life on August 25, 1923 at home in Altamont, Illinois. Mable was a seamstress and a homemaker her in entire life. She retired from the Princess Peggy clothing company. She was very proud of graduating from the 8th grade and wanted to continue her education. Besides raising a family with her late husband in her later years she volunteered for numerous activities. Mable's great grandfather donated the land for the Mt.
