Obituary for MISS ANITA E. KLITZING
Miss Anita E. Klitzing 92 years old of Altamont, died on Thursday evening, August 8, 2013 at 6:15 pm at the Lutheran Care Center, Altamont, Illinois. Anita Emma Anne Klitzing was born August 9, 1920 in the "Blue Point "community, Moccasin Township, Effingham County, Illinois. She was born into the Christian family of Albert John and Anna Emily (Lange) Klitzing as one of three siblings. Anita was a life member of the St. Paul "Blue Point Lutheran Church being baptized on August 22, 1920, confirmed her faith on March 25, 1934. She was always an active member of the "Blue Point" Ladies Aid Society. Anita shared the farming duties with her brother and sister and working at the Lutheran Care Center for a number of years in housekeeping as well as Dr. D.G. Huelskoetter's office in Altamont. For those who prefer Memorials they may be directed to the St. Paul "Blue Point" Lutheran Cemetery Fund, the Lutheran Care Center and or the Donor's Choice. She is survived by several cousins in the Altamont Area. She was preceded in death by her father Albert in 1938 and her mother Anna in 1976 her brother Albert William Klitzing in 1998 and her sister Elda Emma Klitzing in 2002.
