Obituary for LINDER JOE LAUE
BEECHER CITY -- Linder Joe Laue, 65 years old, of Beecher City, died at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Palm Terrace of Mattoon. Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 11 a.m. at Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, with the Rev. Willie Deuel of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont. Burial rites will be conducted at the Hubbartt Cemetery, rural Beecher City, immediately following the funeral service. For those who prefer memorials, they may be directed to the Beecher City Veteran's Memorial. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kullfuneralhome.com for they are assisting the family. Linder Joe Laue was born Nov. 24, 1947, in the Mark Greer Hospital, Vandalia. He was the son of Ellery and Vera (Niehls) Laue. He graduated from Beecher City High School, attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Joe enjoyed his recreational life. He is survived by his two sons, Joey Elijah Laue of Trowbridge and Cody Linder Laue of Beecher City; one daughter, Virginia (husband, Matt) Poston of Effingham and her children, Avery, Nicholas, Elijah, Sophia and Maria; two brothers, Randy Jay (wife, Karen) Laue of St. Elmo, Billy Dale (wife, Tim) Laue of Manchaca, Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.

Monday morning March 11, 2013 at 11:00 am.
