Obituary for LENORA CHARLOTTE IDA ZIEGLER
Lenora Charlotte Ida Ziegler, 89, of Altamont, left this world to be with Jesus Monday afternoon, April 7, 2014, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, in Effingham. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, at St. Paul (Blue Point) Lutheran Church, rural Altamont, with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation for Aunt Norie will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kull Funeral Home, Altamont, and an hour before the service at the church. Memorials can be made to the Lutheran Care Center or St. Paul (Blue Point) Lutheran Church. Aunt Norie was born August 12, 1924, in Moccasin Township, Effingham County to Martin and Ida (Mueller) Ziegler. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at St. Paul (Blue Point) Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member there. Aunt Norie worked as a housekeeper and was employed at the Lutheran Care Center, retiring at the age of 73. Aunt Norie was an unselfish, caring person to her nieces and nephews Paul Fauke, James (Mary) Fauke, John Fauke, Ruth Ann (Bill) Cassidy, Martha (Bob) Rhoades, Sandy (Daryl) Gilbert, Carolyn (Russell) Buck, Nancy (Jerry) Jackson, Lorrie (Glen) Milleville, Michael (Anita) Ziegler, Cathy (Larry) Arnold, Gina Hardiek and 25 great nieces and nephews and 38 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded into death by her parents, sisters Jennie Ziegler and Anita Fauke, brother Harry Ziegler, brother-in-law Herman Fauke, sister-in-law Shirley Ziegler, nephew Emmanual Fauke, and one great nephew.
