Obituary for Kenneth Dean Oldham
Kenneth Dean Oldham was born into the Christian family one of 12 siblings to Charles and Helen (Thompson) Oldham. He was born on February 8, 1945 in the Bluff City, Illinois. Kenny attended grammar school and graduated from Brownstown high school with the class of 1962. He continued his mechanic knowledge by working for the Goers Motor Sales, A& H Implement in Altamont and McDowell’s Service Station in Vandalia for a number of years before running the Mobil Oil Station at the 4-Way stop in Altamont before becoming Kenny’s Mobil Oil Station, a very poplar local gathering place for young men. After retiring Kenny, locally known a “Odie” had a firm interest in gardening where one could witness his results at his home along route #40. As part time he continued working on some automobiles and doing some handy-man work, as well as managing Oldham’s Rental Properties. Kenny married Judith Elouise Goers in 1966 at Immanuel Lutheran Church and resided in Altamont to raise a family and she survives.

Brother: Eugene (wife, Carolyn) Oldham of Maroa, Illinois
