Obituary for James "Bud" Lloyd Myers
Bud was born November 12, 1934 at home in Avena Township, Fayette County, Illinois the third of six children into the Christian family of Teddy J. and Elsie Jane (Hissong) Myers. Bud attended St. Elmo High School. Bud married Ruby June McVicker on April 6, 1957 at the Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage by the Rev. John Meyer. He then began his life quest of managing and raising a family of four children along side with his wife. Bud was retired however he was employed as a Road Commission for Avena Township. He was also employed for Diller Tile for 22 years and Feller Oil Company both of St. Elmo until 1995.
Bud loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren beyond measure. He also enjoyed breakfast every morning at the coffee shop with his friends, mushroom hunting and fishing.
Bud is survived by his:
Son: Randall Lee (wife, Carolyn) Myers of St. Elmo, Illinois and their son: Dylan James Myers
and their 3-daughters: Hollie Michelle (husband, Jeremy) Lock and their sons: Cooper Ryan Lock,
Carter Gage Lock, and Colton Ryder Lock
