Obituary for Dorothy Louise Seibert
Dorothy was born on August 13, 1925 in Avena Township near St. Elmo, Illinois into the Christian family of Morris and Esta Guthrie-Durbin. She was raised with her siblings Dennis, Ethel, Marie, Betty, Alice and Mary. She wed John Bonaventure Siebert on September 2, 1942 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Elmo, Illinois.
He preceded her in death on March 28, 1991.

Dorothy graduated from St. Elmo High School and was employed by the Effingham County Health Department, and was a secretary for Ivan Boggs Oil business for a number of years. She also shared the responsibilities with her late husband in caring and raising one son and
four daughters.

Alice (husband, Harvey) Meseke Shobenier, Illinois
Mary (husband, Keith) Denton Beecher City, Illinois
1-Sister-in-law: Donna Durbin St. Elmo, Illinois
Special Friend: Delbert Foelsing Effingham, Illinois

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband
